Charlotte & Chris Dordogne Chateau Wedding (Marry Me in France)

So we ended on a real high in both Charlotte & Chris's wedding in general and with the weather which was glorious.Being a photographer, I will complain that is was too sunny...but then we are never 100% happy with the lighting which keeps us on our toes!

Steff & Charlie's Chateau Wedding in France (Chateau de Lisse)

And so we come to the 3rd and final of this season's weddings at Chateau de Lisse.Cooler than expected, with the odd spit & spot of the wet stuff, but nothing that affected the day.

Manoir de Clenord wedding - Tamasine & Paul

What is perfection? Is there such thing as a 'perfect wedding'? Well all I can say is that if this one wasn't, it was as close as you can get.OK, it could have been 5 degrees warmer. It could have been 30 minutes later in the day. Err, I'm struggling now...

Gers Marquee Wedding - Becky & Chris

Finally, the day arrived! I had been looking forward to this one for some time having met both Becky & Chris plus Becky's parents earlier this year. And being just down the road literally (well 40 minutes), it beats 6 hours each way in the car!

Chateau Lacanaud Wedding - Heather & Cameron

Eymet in the Dordogne, was the location for Heather & Cameron's Chateau Lacanaud wedding. Well just outside anyway, - I never actually saw or went into the town. The weather was the story of the year, sunny but not quite as warm as it normally is.

I need to write something here for the search engine algorithm so do not feel obliged to read this. In fact, don’t bother at all because it really is just stuff for the bots! Right, here we go, whether it makes any difference or not…

Simon Mark Whitten, AKA Firehorse Photography is a full-time specialist destination wedding photographer and wedding videographer. He offers a hybrid service in regard to capture that combines 100% wedding photography with 100% wedding video and is available for weddings throughout France, the UK and the EU. He is both a qualified and highly experienced professional with a BA (hons) degree in Communication Media from the Kent Institute of Art & Design specialising in; photography, filmmaking and graphic design as well as general art studies, stuff like who painted the Mona Lisa and who the Pre-Raphaelite’s were etc. Experience-wise, Simon has been capturing weddings for around 2 decades and has attended at the time of writing, somewhere between 750-800 weddings in over 14 different countries. Firehorse Photography has captured weddings in; England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, Italy, Greece, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, USA, Mexico, China, Australia and New Zealand. These days, he mainly hangs around France and the EU. Within France, he covers all regions including, but not exclusive to; Normandy, Dordogne, Gironde, Loire, Provence, Cote d’Azur etc plus cities such as Paris and Bordeaux. Basically, he will go anywhere for a good wedding and by a good wedding, he means good people and prefers to work with people that are nice and not full of themselves or overly demanding, AKA, Bridezillas. And he has worked with ALL types. Have I written enough for the algorithm? Who knows. Who cares. Such things don’t really interest me and I’d rather keep as much integrity as I can rather than sell my soul for likes and faux friends such as many do regarding social media. You can find me on Instagram, but that’s about it when it comes to social media. “Look at me, look at me and my amazing life”. Well who cares what you had for lunch and no idea where you are going but I guess it’s by plane somewhere as I can see a Ryanair logo. The bottom line (which this is) is this: If you are looking for a photographer/videographer for your wedding in France or the UK and want the highest quality result, the reassurance of experience and someone that won’t act like a total idiot at any point on your special day, you might like to consider me because I am all of the above. Not a (total) idiot that is.
